Another set of pictures came in the mail today.
Blossom is nearly done!
You can see that the inside and outsides have been cleaned up. That's usually one of the very last things that's done, as it doesn't happen until all the dust making activity is over. She's also been moved to the end slot, where dust from the other boats under construction is less likely to blow over Blossom.
In other news, I've been working with our electronics installer and the electronic package is almost defined. Just a few minor tweaks before we start to order the gear.
We're also working with Yachtsign to finalize our boat name signs. I asked an old school mate to help with the design and happily, she agreed. She does really great work. I have high hopes. No pressure C. :-)
Blossom's so close that I'm going to point out the things still waiting to be completed in each picture, rather than the things that have been done. If a picture has no comment then, as far as I can tell, that's how she's going to look!
Lots of pictures after the jump!
Anchor still to go on.
Main prop and swim platform railings.
BBQ Grill
BBQ Grill
The grouting between the tiles and the granite.
The Miele Speedoven and the dishwasher.
The wall lamp aft on the port wall.
The wall lamp on the starboard, fwd wall.
It looks like there's still a ceiling light in the captains cabin that needs wiring. The pilot house table and pedestal are missing.
As best as I can tell, all the instrumentation is installed and only the wheel is missing.
Mirror needs to be installed on forward wall. It doesn't look like either pocket door has been put in.
Mirror missing.
Another mirror missing.
Fiddle for shelf above bed.
No anchor but, as best as I can tell, the chain is on.
The ladder from the flybridge up to the hatch in the hard top; Some of the overhead lights need wiring; The storage locker where the worker is standing.
The wheel is missing, as is one of the courtesy lights.
The wing engine shaft log still needs to be put in.
The wing engine mounts haven't been fixed.
I also noticed that none of the Vymar light switch cover plates are in. These are engraved with the switch function, so hopefully they've arrived and are correctly labelled. None of the Hella fans are in either.
