Granite and Machinery!

A short post with a few pictures we've received from the yard. These pictures were sent accompanying questions for us and are worth sharing.

The galley granite has started to be installed. The yard had three questions:

1. Is it OK to put a small fiddle (raised lip) on the granite bordering the stack to protect the woodwork from spills?

 Answer: Hell yes!

2. Is it OK that we made the fiddle and undergrab from one piece rather than the two pieces specified by Scott's drawings?

Answer: Don't really care, but if you think it's best then sure!

3. Is it OK to use a small piece of wood to fill the gap between the tiles and the stack?

Answer: No. Please use tile.

We also received a bunch of pictures of the lazerette showing their planned layout, which deviated slightly from our initial thoughts. What's cool is seeing all the machinery in place, ready for installation.

Air tank for air horn. Air compressor below and generator muffler beside it.

Better view of the generator.

Water maker, pressure washer and drum for glendining. Tucked behind is the hydraulic bilge pump.

Chillers for the air conditioning to the right and the auto pilot pumps center.

Another view of the AC chillers. To its right, the control panels and below is the dive compressor.

To the right of the dive compressor is space for a Kabola diesel heater, should we decide to install one. Inverters and chargers to the right.

Fire extinguisher

Layout plan in chinese (Manderin?) and English.
